Seems there are some problem un Ubuntu (more on 64bit) platform.
Unfortunately i don't use it, nor i've had useful reports by the affected people, anyway i tried to guess.
Also, default mplayer in ubuntu doesn't play well with pulseaudio, nor supports vaapi, so i strongly suggest you to update mplayer.

Se il video si ferma quando cambiate volume,
abilitate: software volume Control
SottoOpzioni Generali-> Audio

Oppure disabilitate ogni driver per usare quello di default
Questo è un bug presente in Ubuntu + mplayer + pulseaudio, spiacenti

E visto il changelog , se io salto questo %_release , per mandriva , da 0 a 10, quanto mi odi ?

Puoi prendertel comoda, c'è anche un altro bug risolto che prima o poi interesserà tutti, perchè si verifica con l'ultimissima versione di mplayer.

Puoi prendertel comoda, c'è anche un altro bug risolto che prima o poi interesserà tutti, perchè si verifica con l'ultimissima versione di mplayer.

rpm per mandriva aggiornati , e casomai interessa fc16 rpm e src.rpm qui:
