I am not able to tune any channel with your DVB Tuner (probably is a bug in my dvb driver), but I have already a channels.conf which work very well with vlc and mplayer.
So, is there any place into my xt7-player directory to put my channels.conf file so this app can read the TV channels?

This channels.conf was built using scan from dvb-apps.

Xt7 uses dvb-apps too, so maybe is really a bug with your driver.
but unfortunately (about your question) is not possible.

By now, your best bet is to add uries (dvb://ChannelName) to the playlist using File menu -> open uri.
respecting the same names you have in your channels.conf.
xt7 uses standard channels.conf.{sat,ter,cbl,atsc} (depending on your card type) just like mplayer.

To speed up things you can edit/make a playlist.m3u text file respecting m3u standard and import it in xt7.

That's a shame. But everything seems to start with a problem in my dvb card driver.
I have done what you told me: I've opened all my TV channels with "OPEN URI", and then I've exported as a .xpl playlist.
Everything runs fine right now.

Glad you managed to got it 'working'.
dvb options should apply as normal as they check the stream protocol.

There was a bug in the qt4 port which prevented dvbtuner to work correctly.
if you was using xt7-player2.xxx package, next version will fix that.

New version 2.9.1019 is out.
As long as correcting some bugs in simple dvb-tuner routines, it adds the ability to import an external channels.conf file
