[WON'T] Encoding support

I'm symbianflo from MIB-team
I vould like to know if you can integrate also mencoder
in the future versions ( i know that it.s a GUI for mplayer )
but why not?
So what I try to say, why not build a GUI for mplayer/mencoder
so we can have a encoder strait from player ( VLC like ...)
All this if you intent to maintain the develpment of your player ...

Hi, are you asking about an xt7-rec ?
I' m not sure how to integrate it into the player, vlc is not properly an encoder (it's more a streaming machine), in fact it lacks important features, maybe a parallel project would be a better idea, i've to think about it.

By the way, yes, i intend to mantain xt7-player alive, and so will be as long as there are new needs like yours.

Great , e new videoeditor based on mencoder , written in gambas would be the best ....since gambas are light
and very well mantained by the developers.....

ma figurati
la verità che il tuo player lo segue dago68 lui e molto piu in gamba di me che faccio solo 64
PS: per renderlo indipendente di kde3 e dipendente di solo kde4 credi sia fattibile ( non conosco gambas
quindi fai conto che te lo domanda un newbe ... )

Non dipende più da kde3 da un paio di release, ora sono necessarie solo le qt3.

Per le qt4 (e/o kde4) bisogna aspettare che lo sviluppatore di gambas si decida, i componenti per le qt4 sono in fase molto embrionale e quelli per le kde4libs non esistono nemmeno!

(xt7player doesn't need kde3 anymore, but qt3 are still needed, we have to wait for gambas developers to make some decent qt4 and/or kde4 runtime components to make xt7-player use them)

At least Benoit Minisini fixed:
