New git repository

Postby kokoko3k on Thu Dec 01, 2011 1:58 pm

This post has been updated on 2015/03/03 after the switch from mplayer to mpv

A Git repository (supposed to host stable code in every commit) is now running at:
https://github.com/kokoko3k/xt7-player-mpv

After you installed the dependancies:
Mandatory: gambas >=3.1, mpv, taglib_c(libtag_c)
Optional: youtube-dl,taglib (or libtag),xbindkeys

you can make and test the binary by your own this way
by using git:
Code: Select all
Compiling it:
-----------------------------
After you installed gambas 3, just checkout and compile xt7 that way:

# git clone https://github.com/kokoko3k/xt7-player-mpv.git
# cd xt7-player-mpv/
# /path/to/gambas/binaries/gbc3 -e -a -g -t -p -m
# /path/to/gambas/binaries/gba3
# ./xt7-player-mpv.gambas

Or you can skip the first line (git clone...), by grabbing and extracting the latest snapshot by a tar/zipball file:
https://github.com/kokoko3k/xt7-player-mpv/tarball/master
https://github.com/kokoko3k/xt7-player-mpv/zipball/master

You're right, i forgot to update the changelog.
Check the file AA_Todo at line 120+
There are some updates vs 1028, i think the code is stable, but who can say for sure...
Do as you wish, maybe you can make an xt7-player-git package for the braves :)

Next git pushes will contain a "CHANGELOG_GIT" file
numbered version string doesn't mean much in git imho, why dont just append a date to the package like:
xt7-player-git-20111205 ?

In my previous post I was asking that .... :D

( ups my bad forget to put " ?" )
Ok I'll do that, I can obsolete a stable version , and push the new git epoch , I have no problem with it :D
About the Changelog , i need it to avoid patching it , because rpm5 take infos from it and and if missing or obsolete , then won't pas the rpmlint check . :(
Urpmi/rpm5 (mdv)macros are a bit strange , I know

I will continue to release like in the past too,
about the changelog, you can just "mv CHANGELOG_GIT CHANGELOG" before making the package

anche definisco il pacchetto con la data della clonazione , ovvero il pacchetto xt7-player-%d%m%Y"
una volta compilato e lanciato prende la versione da .project :(
quindi :
Code: Select all
Wrote: /home/symbianflo/rpmbuild/SRPMS/xt7-player-08122011-69.src.rpm
Wrote: /home/symbianflo/rpmbuild/RPMS/noarch/xt7-player-08122011-69-mrb2011.0.noarch.rpm

lanciato in "informazioni " mi da la vesione tua ovvero. 2.9.1033 a questo punto mi domando se non conviene pescare la versione del rpm da
Code: Select all
.project

o pure patchare il file project ?
o pure far finta de nulla?
O pure dimmi te .
