sadly i don't have a mandriva installation to try it, i make the installation packages using the gambas ide itself.

Have you tried to install any previous version?
As far as i know in the past someone successfully made MIB packages here:

Does the version 0.9.1 work for you?

If yes, could you please try to install 0.9.1 it from my package too?

I'm ask you to make this try because i packaged it using gentoo (after 0.9.1 i switched to arch linux) and (probably) another rpm version as long as new gambas ide, and it could help me to find the culprit.

I also extracted noarc and src rpm content through rpmextract, and it seems that everything is fine, i cannot see differences between 0.9.1 and 0.9.13 packagement.

By the way, i managed to unlock post attachment in phpbb settings, so you can try to post the snapshot again, or, if possible, a more verbose output from urpmi, but, as i said, i'm not a mandriva distro expert

MIB 's first porting of your player , begun with 0.7.1 all the release you've made since then
we e have them on ours repo ( if aint work I have to kill all mib testers ghghghgh, but it's not the case ...)
So if you change your mind , and you'll go ahead to develop this player ( that IMHO is the best GUI for mplayer ever done ) I 'll assure you that we will keep porting your player , and try to fix where is possible
( we dont have not working packages on the repos )
And for this relese allready tested and uploaded on MIB servers in the afternoon I'll make the post on our blog .

PS. If you whant you can put the link of our repos with your player , on kdeapps.org ( but I strongly reccomend to add the mib repos , becose the MDV gambas are a bit old , we also mede a whole porting of gambas for 2008.1 and works only with that ......
